M.O.M.s Ministry

M.O.M.s, a ministry of the Camarillo Seventh-Day Adventist Church, stands for "Mothers Of Miracles." This name was chosen because we believe that every child is a miracle given to us from God. Our mission statement is "to nurture mothers of all ages during their journey through motherhood and to encourage them to keep God as the center of their home."

We strive to achieve this by providing various types of activities and programs that uplift mothers and help them grow.

Our activities include play days for mothers with younger children. These provide a fun activity for the children as well as an opportunity for mothers to fellowship and talk together.

We have Family Days which include a fun outdoor activity for the entire family. This helps build friendships with other families.

T.L.C. For New Moms provides meals and moral support for new moms and their families. As moms we know how difficult those first weeks can be!

Ladies' Nights Out allow moms to leave behind the worries of their day and have an evening out with friends. These special times refresh moms so they can return to their families with a new perspective.

M.O.M.s meetings are a special time for moms to get together and enrich their lives by learning about topics such as child development, cooking, holiday crafts, etc.
Pure Way Ministries

Pure Way Ministries' mission is to call individuals—particularly young people—to a life fully committed to Christ, a love relationship with the Lord, making choices based on what brings Him glory. It is a call to understand and live the fact that we are all created in His image, bestowed with the beautiful gift of sexuality that He wants to use to show His amazing love through how we treat others and ourselves.

The motto of Pure Way Ministries is, "...committing to wait, because YOU are worth waiting for." Individuals are shown, "You are worth waiting for." They are invited to make the commitment to purity, because "You (the future spouse) are worth waiting for," and because "You (Jesus) are worth waiting for." He knows the plans He has, what is best, who He has created for "you." He knows "you" and His timing is perfect!

Pure Value is the girls' events, calling them to reject the world's lies of who they "should" be, showing them the price Jesus paid for them and the value He has placed on them.

Pure Challenge is the guys' events, calling them to resist temptations to compromise purity and, with the Spirit, live lives as the men God calls them to be.
