Scripture Memorization

Indicate the passage you wish to practice by entering the reference in the form below. If you have previously done memory work, you may also select a recent passage from those listed.

Entire passage. You will be prompted to enter the entire passage. If the passage contains multiple verses, you must enter the text from all of them, so that the passage is complete.
Verse-by-verse. If you specify a passage containing multiple verses, you will be prompted for the verses one at a time, in sequence. You must enter all of the words in each verse, without entering words from either the previous or the next verse. You will continue to be prompted until you have gone through all of the verses in the passage, or until you click the link to return to this screen.
Random verse. If you specify a passage containing multiple verses, you will be prompted for a randomly selected verse within this passage. You must enter the words of that verse only, without including any portion of the preceding or following verses. You will continue to be prompted until you click the link to return to this screen.
Reference drill. If you specify a passage containing multiple verses, you will be shown the text from a randomly selected verse within the passage and prompted for the chapter and verse. This will continue until you click the link to return to this screen.
Show verse cues. Check this box to display the first and last word of the verse or passage you are working on.
